In a year filled with several unprecedented challenges, people are needing a little extra help. That’s why Carroll ISD is proud to host its annual Give Back Challenge for the fifth year in a row.
Since 2016, Carroll ISD has hosted the Give Back Challenge to benefit nonprofit organizations around the area. In its first year, the district hosted a canned food drive for GRACE, a Grapevine nonprofit that provides food, clothing and financial assistance to struggling families. This year’s challenge will once again benefit GRACE by collecting gift cards and donations that will go directly toward its Christmas Cottage that provides gifts for families at no cost.
To participate in the challenge, visit any one of the front offices of Carroll’s 11 campuses and donate marked gift cards between $10-25. For those that are social distancing, online donations can be made on GRACE’s website after indicating which school you’re donating to. The challenge begins on Monday, November 30 and runs through until 9 a.m. on Friday, December 4. The winning campus will receive the 2020 Ozarka Compassion Cup as the prize and will be announced during the varsity football game against Keller Fossil Ridge that same night.
