The Carroll Education Foundation is extremely proud to partner with Abigail Perez to launch the first-ever local Super Kid Challenge with the big goal of funding a CISD teacher.
Abigail Perez is an amazing fourth-grade author, illustrator and entrepreneur with a huge heart for giving and a creative imagination for how to be philanthropic. Abigail is from Southlake and believes that every kid has superpowers that can be used to change the world in a healthy, positive way.
The Challenge is About to Begin
On February 5, Abigail will be filming a video for her Super Kid song that she co-wrote with inspirational pop artist, Brotha James. The video will be launched prior to her book signing on February 24 at the Southlake Barnes & Noble. For more on Abigail’s book, go to her website.
Abigail’s generous goal through her challenge is to fund a CISD teacher. This means that the Perez family will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from the sales of Abigail’s book to the Carroll Education Foundation. (www.carrolleducationfoundation.org)
Who Is Abigail Perez?
As someone who has been personally impacted by bullying at a very young age, Abigail’s mission is to put an end to bullying by being a voice for change and encouraging others to discover their innate Super Kid powers. As you can well imagine, Abigail is very active and involved in her community. She tries to find creative ways to support non-profit groups that align with her Super Kid mission, to give every kid the opportunity to be the Super Kid they are meant to be. When she is not reading or writing a book, she loves playing the piano, rock climbing, tennis and so much more!

As a young philanthropist, Abigail knows CEF’s mission to help fund CISD teachers is such an immediate and important goal. Our teachers motivate and guide us to becoming the best Super Kids we can be!
