CEF Teacher Telethon Coming Soon
Over the past 25 years, the Carroll Education Foundation has contributed over $2.5 million to Carroll ISD teachers, students and alumni, with nearly $1 million of that in just the past two years through the Teacher Fund and scholarships. Keller Williams, Southlake Luxury Division has been the cornerstone of our campaign for the past three years and is the host of the Teacher Telethon on December 1, 2020, #GivingTuesday.
“We have an amazing partnership with Keller Williams, Southlake Luxury Division, and the Teacher Telethon day in their Southlake Market Center always adds to the excitement of the event for our volunteers who will be calling Carroll ISD parents to help raise funds. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year’s Teacher Telethon,” says Kathy Lanier, CEF Executive Director.
In addition to their generous support, CEF has already raised over $35,000 in matching dollars for this year’s Teacher Telethon thanks to our generous Dragon community of parents, friends, businesses and alumni.
Last year, the telethon raised over $114,000 and funded two Carroll ISD teachers. This year, CEF hopes to increase support for the Telethon and raise $150,000 to fund three teachers for the upcoming school year. Another CEF supporter of the Teacher Telethon, Taverna Rossa Southlake, is hosting an all-day fundraiser. This Monday, November 16, Taverna Rossa Southlake is donating 100% of proceeds for dine-in, take-out and gift card purchases.
