In the spirit of the Season for Giving, the spotlight turns to the Carroll Education Foundation, where the community's generosity knows no bounds. With a nod to their esteemed Superintendent's Circle, here's a glimpse into a philanthropic movement gaining momentum among Dragon families, businesses and community members.
With a 27-year history, the Carroll Education Foundation stays committed to supporting the district by funding Dragon teachers. This year marks a milestone as ALL classroom teachers receive direct funding for the first time. Helping to make that possible is the Superintendent's Circle, which is currently comprised of 17 generous members, each contributing $10,000 or more to fuel the CEF Teacher Fund. This fund serves as the financial heartbeat, empowering educators shaping Dragon students' future.
Beyond the financial contribution and other benefits, members are invited to attend the annual Superintendent's Circle Dinner held each spring with Carroll ISD superintendent Dr. Lane Ledbetter. This exclusive evening is an intimate dinner that helps foster connections among educational leaders and like-minded philanthropists in the Dragon community.
At the forefront of this philanthropic movement stands Sewell Automotive Companies, the title sponsor and guiding light for this circle of giving. Sewell's century-long commitment to community service aligns seamlessly with CEF's values. Their 'Customers For Life' mission mirrors the enduring impact envisioned by the Superintendent's Circle, embodying a year-round commitment to making a positive difference.
As the Season For Giving unfolds and you plan your end-of-year giving, we hope you will consider a gift to the Carroll Education Foundation. Whether you become a new member of the Superintendent’s Circle or a Friend of CEF ($365 – just $1 a day), your gift makes a lasting impact. Together, let's show our Dragon teachers how much they are appreciated.
