On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Lady Dragons water polo team competed in the 6A state tournament in San Antonio, finishing third in the state of Texas. This is the third consecutive year that the Lady Dragons have come in first at regionals and gone on to compete at the state championships.
In San Antonio, the team faced off against Clute Brazoswood in the semifinals. While they lost to the eventual state champions 14-8, the Lady Dragons came home winning bronze. In addition, captain Syndey Rubin was selected for the 2024-25 UIL Water Polo State Championship All-Tournament Team.
