Tis’ The Season Of Giving
December is known as the Season Of Giving, and CEF is so grateful for its generous Dragon families, businesses and community. One of the cornerstones of CEF is the Superintendent’s Circle. This giving circle was established just four years ago and has already grown to 14 members – each one donating $10,000 or more to the CEF Teacher Fund.
In addition to other sponsor benefits, members of this giving circle receive special access to Carroll ISD Superintendent Dr. Lane Ledbetter at the Superintendent’s Circle Dinner in March.
Leading this group of philanthropic-minded Dragons and local businesses is CEF's title sponsor, Sewell Automotive Companies, and CEF couldn’t have found a better partner for this giving circle. Why? Because at Sewell, giving season isn’t just in December — it’s year-round. Since the company’s start in 1911, Sewell has had a rich history of giving back to the communities they serve.
“Sewell’s ‘Customers For Life’ mission and values are a perfect fit for the CEF Superintendent’s Circle of giving," CEF board chair Rebecca Hindman says. "We are proud to have Sewell be such a key member of our giving family."
