Welcome Class Of 2035 Dragons!
Join the Carroll Education Foundation in welcoming its newest Dragons, the class of 2035! At the beginning of each school year, CEF welcomes each kindergarten student with a free “Club Charlie Class Of 2035” yard sign and a Club Charlie T-shirt with Charlie the Dragon. CEF is proud to partner for the fourth year in a row with Thomas & Sharon Michael | DFW Elite Realty as the Title Sponsor for Club Charlie.
“Thomas and Sharon love giving back to Carroll ISD through the Club Charlie Kindergarten program, and we are so grateful for their continued support,” CEF development director Alex Martin says.
How does the Club Charlie Contest work? The contest runs October 1-22. For each kindergarten family that becomes a Friend of CEF by donating $365 ($1 a day), CEF will award a point to their Carroll ISD elementary campus. The kindergarten grade level at the campus with the highest percentage of participation from kindergarten classes wins a party with CISD’s mascot, Charlie the Dragon!
And, that’s not all… each kindergarten family who donates $365 or more will have their student automatically entered into a drawing to win the Santa’s Helper package at the city of Southlake’s Home for the Holidays event on Nov. 19, 2022. The package includes a Santa Carriage Ride to Santa’s Village, Pictures with Santa, VIP Reception before the Tree Lighting and helping Santa light the tree. Best of all, family members and siblings are welcome to join in the fun!
How else can kindergarten parents get involved? By sending in a photo of your little dragon in a Club Charlie T-shirt and holding your Club Charlie Class of 2035 sign! CEF will feature your student and campus in our Club Charlie Contest emails and social media. Please email your kindergartener’s photo to Info@CarrollEducationFoundation.org.
“We are thrilled to share in the welcome of our newest Dragons and continue our support of the CEF Club Charlie Kindergarten program. It’s a special treat to help our newest Dragons join in the excitement of what it means to be a Dragon in Carroll ISD,” says Sharon Michael, DFW Elite Realty. Thomas and Sharon have two Dragons of their own who began their years as Dragons at Rockenbaugh Elementary — Grant, who graduated with the class of 2022, and Lauren, who is in eighth grade at Dawson Middle School.
