Welcome, Class Of 2033 Dragons!
CEF is welcoming its newest Dragons, the class of 2033, through its Club Charlie program. Kindergartners love their teachers and are excited to be Carroll Dragons! CEF, the nonprofit fundraising arm of the district, is raising funds for CISD Teachers through the CLUB CHARLIE CONTEST.
CEF is proud to partner with Thomas & Sharon Michael | DFW Elite Realty, as the title sponsor for Club Charlie.
“Thomas and Sharon love welcoming the newest class of Dragons to Carroll ISD family. We are so grateful for the ongoing support of Thomas and Sharon Michael | DFW Elite Realty,” says CEF Director of Development Leighanne Christon.
How does the Club Charlie Contest work? For each Kindergarten family that becomes a Friend of CEF by donating $365 ($1 a Day) from October 1-22, CEF will award a point to their Carroll ISD elementary campus. The kindergarten grade level at the campus with the highest percentage participation from kindergarten classes wins a party with Charlie the Dragon!
“After becoming a Friend of CEF by donating $365 ($1 a Day), a CEF volunteer will deliver your yard sign. Please send in a photo of your little dragon with your Club Charlie sign and your CEF yard sign and you will be entered into a drawing for a special prize! We'll also feature your student and campus in our Club Charlie Contest,” says Kathy Lanier, CEF Executive Director.
Please email your photo to info@carrolleducationfoundation.org. Carroll Elementary has won the Club Charlie Contest for the past two years. Will there be a three-peat? Or will another CISD elementary campus get the bragging rights?
