The first annual Engel & Voelkers Southlake Holiday Home Tour benefiting Christmas is for Children was a great success. It was a joyous day filled with holiday cheer. More than 500 people enjoyed touring five spectacular homes, each of which offered guests a unique perspective on celebrating the holiday season. One home featured pictures with Santa, another an upside-down Christmas tree and another a vintage rotating Santa’s sleigh tree topper. All of the homes featured majestic Christmas trees, twinkling lights and spectacular garland at every turn. Individuals, couples and groups alike delighted in the stunning displays all while enjoying the beautiful weather.
Christmas is for Children is incredibly grateful to all of the homeowners, sponsors and volunteers for sharing their homes, time, talent and funds to make the Southlake Holiday Home Tour possible. In particular, Engel & Voelkers was a tremendous partner in hosting the event. From start to finish their exceptional commitment, professionalism and attention to detail were instrumental in making this event possible. Thanks to the generosity of its many supporters, Christmas is for Children is one step closer to fulfilling its mission of spreading the magic of Christmas to children in need this holiday season.
Christmas is for Children (CIFC) is a local, Southlake-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children with the love, care, and joy that comprise the spirit of Christmas. The goal of CIFC is to help fulfill each child’s Christmas wish list with something they want, something they need, and something educational. It also provides sponsored families with a food basket to help put food on their shelves and provide a special holiday meal. To learn more, visit www.christmasisforchildren.org
