With a happy-go-lucky personality and lots of energy, Kodiak is flipping the script on what it means to be a senior dog. Adopted at 10 weeks old, Kodiak has worked as a therapy dog in hospitals, moved around to many places and saw his family grow during his 11 years with the Gordans. “Everyone seems surprised to learn he’s 11,” Kodiak’s owner Michelle says. “He’s young at heart and always gives the biggest smile to anyone who gives him attention.” Some of Kodiak’s favorite things to do include chasing his cat siblings, showing off new tricks and eating as many treats as his owners will give him.
