Can you imagine hundreds of children asking to learn more math, and even loving the process? It happens every day at Mathnasium of Southlake. Whether your child is ready to leap ahead of their peers or is struggling with concepts taught in school, we have the power to unlock their full potential in a positive environment that children love. Mathnasium of Southlake has been helping children with math since 2010. Conveniently located off Southlake Blvd., we are easily accessible to all.
During our years in the community, we have help hundreds of children of all ages achieve and excel in math. The Mathnasium mission is to teach children math, so they understand it, master it and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world. We offer programs for all ages. For the little mathletes, we have great foundations to help them develop a love of math at a young age. We also offer programs for students in grades 1–12.
All our students start off with an in-depth assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses. From this assessment, we customize a learning plan for each student. Students work through their learning plan and their progress is measured through mastery checks, progress checks and post assessments. During the school year, we also provide homework help for our students along with test prep for school tests, STAAR, EOC, SAT and ACT. Parents receive periodic progress reports to help them keep track of their child’s progress. Students may participate in person at our Mathnasium center. We also offer an online program through Mathnasium @ home for students that are traveling or cannot come into the center.
Mathnasium of Southlake serves the community by offering gifted high school students their first job. To qualify as an instructor, they must demonstrate their proficiency in math by successfully completing our math instructor assessment. Once hired, they undergo extensive training to learn the Mathnasium way of teaching and how to use it to work with children. Many student instructors who leave for college return during their summers to resume their teaching at Mathnasium. We offer a comfortable, vibrant atmosphere to encourage our students to work hard and advance in their math skills. By doing so, they earn rewards for their good work and effort.
