No Quinn Ewers, no problem.
In his first game as the starting quarterback, Kaden Anderson showed what he’s made of. Completing 16 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns, the junior also rushed for 15 yards and a touchdown.
That's why he's this week's Dragon Pride Player Of The Week, presented by AC Pros.
It didn’t take long for Kaden to find his footing at AT&T Stadium against Highland Park. Just a few minutes into the first quarter, he threw a 71-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Landon Samson. The second quarter saw Kaden throw another big touchdown pass thrown to Landon and later rush in his own touchdown.
After former quarterback Quinn Ewers left, Dragon fans were uncertain about what the season might look like with Kaden at the helm. After his first game as the starting quarterback, the answer is clear.
Kaden, with lots of talent and a great team behind him, will continue the work towards the Dragons’ goal of winning a state championship this season. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
