The curtainbrgoes up tonight as Carroll Theatre premieres the full Broadway score of Les Misérables. Selected as one of the first high schools inbrthe nation to produce the musical, cast members began preparing for the emotionallybrchallenging roles last spring and have drawn on their off-stage friendships tobrproduce chemistry on stage.
Seniors Heather Wangbrand Mark Elliot will portray Fantine and Jean Valjean. Also appearing are seniors Joey Donoian andbrKristine Lahde as Javert and Eponine, along with Emily Cutler and TimmybrThompson as Cosette and Marius. Thesebrseniors have done extensive character research in preparing for their roles andbrwill be auditioning for college placement later this fall.
