Southlake Carroll’s football game against Keller Timber Creek, originally scheduled for November 25, has been rescheduled amid “the unforeseen impact of COVID-19 quarantines on Keller ISD Athletics,” the Carroll Athletic Booster Club says via Facebook.
Instead of playing on Wednesday, the two teams will now play on Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving. The game is still set to be played at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex.
“We understand the impact this change may have on your family plans during break and appreciate your support and flexibility as we work cooperatively with our neighboring districts to manage this 2020 season's challenges successfully,” the Carroll Athletic Booster Club says via Facebook.
This is the second time Carroll’s football schedule has been affected by the pandemic. The team canceled their third game of the season against Denton Guyer due to the pandemic.
