Southlake Carroll's first football game of the season will be televised on ESPN.
The Dragons' first game of the regular season will have them take on Highland Park at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, August 26. The game will also be showcased on ESPNU at 7 p.m. as part of the networks' GEICO High School Football Kickoff, according to a press release.
The kickoff is one of seven games and one of two Texas games to be featured on ESPN between August 26-29. Last year, the Dragons' game against Denton Guyer was supposed to air live on ESPN2 before it got canceled due to a player testing positive for COVID-19.
