Senior wide receiver Landon Samson has officially received his 2022 All-American Bowl Jersey.
In the 10th episode of "Road To The Dome," NBC Sports showcased Samson and a handful of the other 100 high school athletes chosen to participate, highlighting their athleticism and allowing the student-athletes to don their All-American Bowl jerseys.
“It’s an honor to be here,” Landon says via Youtube after putting on his jersey. “I’d like to thank my family, my friends, my coaches, everybody in my life who’s helped me get to this point.”
Brandon Huffman, the national recruiting editor for 247 Sports, called Landon “one of the most productive players in the state of Texas.”
“Samson can line up outside or inside the slot, can run every route crisp and pristine and has soft hands to pull down everything thrown to him,” Brandon says via Youtube. “He does a tremendous job of finding the soft spots in the coverage, making the catch, picking up more yards after the reception consistently.”
Alumni of the All-American Bowl include Odell Beckham Jr., Ezekiel Elliot and Trevor Lawrence.
The 2022 All-American Bowl is set to take place at 12 p.m. on Jan. 8 at the Alamodome in San Antonio and will air on NBC. Tickets are available now and start at $6.50.
