After a redshirt freshman season where he led the Texas Longhorns to six wins while throwing for 2,177 yards and 15 touchdowns, Quinn Ewers finds himself in good company. The former Southlake Carroll Dragon standout quarterback currently has the third-best odds (+1,100) to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy Award behind USC’s Caleb Williams (+500) and LSU’s Jayden Daniels (+900), according to BETMGM.
During his time as a Dragon under head coach Riley Dodge, Ewers threw for over 6,500 yards and 73 touchdowns and was listed as the No. 1-ranked quarterback in the country in 2021. Named to the 2021 Elite 11 roster, Ewers was also nominated for The Landry Award in 2020 and selected to be in the All-American Bowl.
