After showing off his athleticism during his junior season and last weekend's finals, Southlake Carroll quarterback Quinn Ewers was selected from a pool of 20 quarterbacks as one of 2021’s Elite 11.
The Elite 11 brings together the year’s rising senior quarterbacks to receive quarterback instruction, which includes on-field drills, route practice and off-field development, according to its website. Quarterbacks first participate in the Elite 11 regionals to earn a spot in the finals and the chance to be named to the Elite 11. This year's finals were held from June 30 to July 3 in Los Angeles, California.
Fellow Texans who join Quinn as part of the 2021 Elite 11 include Cade Klubnik from Westlake High School, Nick Evers from Flower Mound High School and Connor Weigman from Bridgeland High School.
During his time at the Elite 11 finals, Quinn came in second place twice — in the rankings prior to Pro Day and in the rankings prior to the Mega-Target Challenge.
Previous Elite 11 alumni include Drew Brees, Andrew Luck and Aaron Rogers.
