The Carroll Football team is seeing some recognition ahead of its 2022-2023 football season.
Last Friday, Dave Campbell's Texas Football released its 6A Preseason Rankings — and the Dragons ranked third in the list. Far from the only achievement they've received before their first game, the Dragons were also named the No. 28 team in the nation by MaxPreps.
Even before the season has started, the Carroll Football team is earning recognition. The Dragons are ranked No. 3 in Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s 6A Preseason Rankings. Kaden Anderson, Owen Allen and Drew Perez were also named to "The Dallas Morning News'" list of top 2023 recruits. Kaden was also named one of DCTF’s Top 10 QB prospects while the team as a whole was recognized for its playoff prowess.
Last season, the Dragons went 14-1, ultimately falling to Duncanville in a 35-9 loss in the playoffs.
