It’s already been a busy season for Southlake Carroll’s senior kicker. Last month, Tyler White was selected for MaxPreps’ prestigious All-America second team defense. Now Tyler will be recognized as part of the 2023 All-America team.
According to a media release, Tyler will be among 100 athletes selected to participate in the upcoming All-American Bowl. Averaging 42 yards per punt, the five star Texas A&M commit connected on 79 of 81 extra points and 10 of 12 field goals last season, including a long of 55 that ties the school record for distance.
His skills on the field will lead to him getting his own All-American jersey at 7 p.m. on Wednesday as part of NBC Sports’ “Road To The Dome” digital series. Football fans can watch Tyler play in the Alamodome during the upcoming East vs. West matchup on Peacock or NBCSports.com early next year.
