Lady Dragons dominatedbrtheir final regular-season games, outscoring their opponents in both games bybrdouble-digits. Top players included Erin Weisert, Gabi Gervasi, Anna Warnerbr(goalie), Sophia Torres and Katie Nedrow.
The Dragon Boys beatbrDenton Guyer 9-5, playing all 16 Dragon athletes in that game. Then thebrteam beat St. Marks, the two-time defending State Champions, 4-3. This was the first time in more than 15 yearsbrand 200 games that any teambrfrom North Texas has been victorious over St. Marks. Zach Lowery,brSean Murphy, Nate Winkler (goalie), Daniel Balint, Griffin Rea, Braden Hall,brNaysan Sahba and Matt Hahn competed against St. Marks.
Lady Dragons will carry abr13-4 regular-season record into the North Regional Championships, along with a top-twobrranking in the state. The team will be seeded first of 12 teams in the NorthbrRegion Championships, which begin Friday afternoon at the Carroll AquaticbrCenter, concluding with games all day on Saturday. The girls compete Saturdaybrmorning, earning a bye into the second-round field of eight teams.

The team will be seeded third of 12 teams in thebrNorth Region Championships. The boys compete Saturday morning, earning a byebrinto the second-round field of eight teams.
The top four high schoolbrwater polo teams at the North Regional Championships will qualify for the Tisca State Water Polo Tournament in College Station at Texas A&M University Aprilbr29 and 30. Lady Dragons are the defending 2015 State Champions and thebrDragon Boys finished fifth at the 2015 State Championships.
