The Southlake Carroll swim and dive teams have been crowned state champions yet again.
After sweeping the district and regional meets earlier this year, both the boys and girls swim and dive teams earned first place at the UIL State Meet over the weekend. This is the 12th state title for the boys and the fifth state title for the girls.
Divers Kyleigh Kidd and Natalie Stubbs respectively earned first and second place with scores of 512.05 and 468.7. Meanwhile, both the boys and girls teams came in first for the 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
Individually, Maximus Williamson earned first place in the 100 back, Hailey Heldenbrand earned second in the 50 free, Marin Clem earned third in the 50 free and Andrew Zettle and Mason Edmund respectively earned second and third in the 200 free. Southlake Carroll coach Kevin Murphy was also named the Coach Of The Meet.
