Teen Driver's Education Course

For students who have not received any classroom instruction or behind-the-wheel training, this is our all-inclusive driver’s education course that includes everything your teen needs to earn their driver’s permit and prepare them for driving on the road. Students receive the classroom instruction requirement, 7 hours of behind-the-wheel training where our experienced instructors teach driving skills and defensive driving techniques, 7 hours of behind-the-wheel observation where students get a chance to show off what they’ve learned, and the permit test required to receive their driver’s permit and begin driving. The DPS Road Test will be scheduled and paid for by The Driving Institute. The instructors will provide transportation from The Driving Institute to DPS and the student will be dropped off at their house following the completion of the road test.
