Over 101 restaurants are participating in DFW Restaurant Week 2021, and five of them are from the Southlake-Grapevine-Colleyville area.
Kicking off on August 9, DFW Restaurant Week is the largest annual culinary event in North Texas that raises over $10 million for its charity partners. This year features both dine-in and takeout options, and 20% of proceeds will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope.
“DFW Restaurant Week is the ideal way to celebrate the North Texas dining scene and support our community,” NTFB President and CEO Trisha Cunningham says in a press release. “Needs remain extremely high with the lingering economic impact of the pandemic. With every DFW Restaurant Week meal you purchase, the North Texas Food Bank can provide up to 30 meals since every dollar we receive can provide three meals for hungry North Texans."
This year, Del Frisco's Grille, Kirby's Prime Steakhouse, Moxies, Next Bistro and Mac's On Main are all participating in DFW Restaurant Week. Kirby's was recognized as a DFW Restaurant Week Star last year, and two-to-three course lunches and dinners will run between $19 and $49.
