Wine lovers possess a thirst for adventure, along with one for the nectar of the grape. For them, savoring intriguing wines among friends and family is the stuff of memories to reminisce over for years to come. Such is the inspiration behind Truluck’s Southlake’s Four-Course Wine Dinner on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m. featuring wine pairings from Napa’s heralded Merryvale Vineyards.
Hosted in the intimate environs of Truluck’s Southlake’s private dining room, this celebration of culinary and viticultural passion promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience for the wine-loving bon vivants among us. The event opens with a “Meet The Winemaker” Q&A session, along with a sampling of Merryvale Sauvignon Blanc.
The four-course dinner then unfolds, spanning Merryvale’s portfolio of Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merryvale Profile, and Merryvale Antigua. Truluck’s signature dishes pair with each vintage featuring Stone Crab Claws, Prime Filet Béarnaise topped with Shrimp and Crab and house-made Carrot Cake with Spicy Pecans and Warm Butterscotch Sauce.
These quarterly wine dinner events at Truluck’s have become quite the hot ticket, so you’ll want to reserve your seats as early as possible.
If taking your love of exceptional wine and cuisine with like-minded friends, let your rallying cry be: “Eat, drink, and be Merryvale.”
