Take Taco Tuesday to a whole new level with a trip over to Uncle Julio’s. The Grapevine location is offering a Taco Bar Tuesday every Tuesday to help people build their own delicious Tex Mex experience.
For $10 per person, and a minimum of two people per order, guests can create their own tacos using a Lazy Susan packed with savory meats and toppings. Each order includes two types of meat – chicken and beef – served in Dutch ovens to keep them warm over the course of the meal. The proteins are surrounded by dishes of fresh ingredients like pickled red onions, chipotle crema, tumbleweed onions, Cotija cheese and roasted corn pico. The tray is served with a plate of cheese, lettuce and onions as well as soft flour tortillas or hard shells.
To help people build out a flavorful taco, Uncle Julio’s provides guests with suggested combinations – like The Twist, a crispy taco with sautéed chicken, chipotle crema, Cotija cheese, shredded cheese, lettuce and tomato, or The Flamingo, a soft taco with sautéed chicken, lime crema, roasted corn pico, pickled red onions and chopped cilantro. Or guests can feel free to experiment as they go until they find their new signature taco creation.
The Taco Tuesday Bar is definitely enough food to satisfy two people, so it’s a great way to spice up a weekday date night. Or, for kids who love playing with their food, the special acts as a great way for your little ones to experiment with new flavor
