Fueling The Community
Black Rock Coffee Bar Provides Exceptional Roasts And Signature Specialties.
If you’re tired of making coffee at home or grabbing a cup from the gas station, a new coffeehouse has hit the block this fall: Black Rock Coffee Bar.
Opening in late August, Black Rock Coffee Bar is a modern, chic coffee shop serving up everything from mochas and lattes to teas and smoothies.
“It’s been great,” says Jeff Hernandez, Black Rock Coffee Bar’s co-founder and executive chairman. “I went to that opening… and it was great. We had people coming from all over the community saying, ‘We’ve been waiting for this. We’ve been excited for this.’”
Jeff emphasizes how the community is at the heart of every Black Rock location.
“Our vibe is that we want to come into a community, we want to connect with that community and we want to fuel the stories of the customers in that area,” Jeff says.
Whether you drive through on your way to work or get an afternoon pick-me-up, everyone can find their new favorite drink with Black Rock’s offerings. No-fuss coffee drinkers will delight over classic drinks like an Americano, a white mocha or a cold brew. But if you need more than the usual amount of caffeine, splurge on the Jackhammer, which is a vanilla mocha with an extra double shot.
And if that’s not enough caffeine, test your limits with the I.V. — which is Black Rock’s signature roast with Irish cream, vanilla syrup, half-and-half and a whopping six shots of espresso.
Those that don’t drink coffee can still find their new favorite drink inside. Hot chocolate, a chai tea latte, hot tea or shaken iced tea is available for those who don’t have an affinity for the mighty coffee bean.
Black Rock also caters to those who are health-conscious, serving up sugar-free syrup flavors, sauces and five different types of smoothies: strawberry, wildberry, peach, mango and green apple.
So make a point to go by Black Rock Coffee Bar this winter. With its variety of delicious drinks, you won’t regret it.
“I like to say if we can make our customers’ day just 1% better in that 45-second interaction we have, then [in a year] that’s 365% of encouragement and positivity we’ve been able to put out into the community for each person,” Jeff says. “That’s what it’s about for us.”
