Legacy Food Hall, the first of its kind to open in North Texas, won second place in the “Best New Food Hall” 2019 USA Today 10Best Readers Choice Travel Award.
After the publication’s panel full of industry experts selected the contest’s nominees, the public was able to make the final decision on what food hall stood out from the rest. Over four weeks, food halls were able to collect votes online, and Legacy Hall came out on top.
“It is an honor for Legacy Hall to receive this prestigious national recognition, especially having been first to market in North Texas,” said Joseph A. Magliarditi, President/CEO of The Food Hall Co. parent company of Legacy Hall. “Since its opening in 2017, the goal was to create a destination to ‘dine, drink and discover,’ and we are thrilled that our efforts have been embraced and acknowledged by both our guests and the media.”
Legacy Food Hall is a great way for locals to get introduced to the food hall concept before Southlake gets our own in a few years. To learn more about the movement behind the foodie trend, you can read our September feature, “All Hail, Food Halls!”
