Modern Mediterranean
PIAF Brings Locals Together In Style.

After two decades of successfully running Main Street Bistro & Bakery in downtown Grapevine, owners Fabien Goury and Yasmine Bohsali decided to reinvest in the dining district. And thanks to Yasmine’s Middle East upbringing, it didn’t take them long to build a new concept and fresh menu.
PIAF, a modern take on the Mediterranean bistro, offers seasonal menus that showcase the region’s zest. With influences from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, North Africa and Turkey, the restaurant provides big flavors in a swanky environment.
Whether you settle into the moody main dining hall downstairs, enjoy your meal on the enclosed upstairs balcony patio or try out the posh second-floor lounge featuring a hand-drawn mural highlighting spots in the Metroplex, you can quickly feel transported after taking a seat.
“We wanted to create a good vibe and really a home away from home,” Fabien says. “We have two different vibes between upstairs and downstairs.”
By working with local vendors and farmers, PIAF creates fresh takes on classic Mediterranean dishes. The beef carpaccio topped with shaved Parmesan, field greens and capers offers a subtle start to the meal, while the wagyu meatballs, served with a Moroccan tomato sauce, provide those juicy, hearty flavors you expect from the plate.
Meat lovers can enjoy the lamb shank or filet mignon, while vegetarians can savor filling entrees like the mushroom risotto or the Mediterranean flatbread topped with artichokes, feta cheese, tomatoes and caramelized onions. And vino aficionados have plenty to be excited about with an expansive wine list featuring bottles that range in price from $27 to a couple hundred.
“I want people to travel the world with wine,” Fabien says. “We have a diverse menu that includes French, Italian and Spanish wines.”
With bright flavors and exquisite decor, PIAF provides something new to Grapevine’s hottest restaurant row. Whether you wander in for your next date night or drinks with the girls, it’s easy to ease back in your chair and make the most of the experience while dining at PIAF.
