North Texas Beer Week (NTXBW) has returned for its 11th annual event this week — and two Southlake establishments are participating in the local brouhaha.
Opening in Southlake in 2021, Cowtown Brewing Company is known for its wide selection of craft beers. The brewery is just warming up for Oktoberfest, and its German-style decor and patio tent are already up in anticipation of the fall festivities. Drop in for its Bavarian Platter Oktoberfest special, which comes with a Texas-sized pretzel, bratwurst, brat bites, beer cheese and sauerkraut, plus two commemorative steins filled with Cowtown's popular High Brau. And whether you bring a growler or buy a four-pack, you'll want to bring The Last Kaiser imperial Marzen home with you.
Also participating is the local pizzeria Taverna Rossa. This local joint is featuring Negroni-style cocktails benefitting Slow Food, a movement focused on enjoying food and beverages in a sustainable way for the planet. Whether you get the Rossaritas or Rossa Mules, drink with a purpose at Taverna Rossa.
