This Wednesday is Cinco de Mayo, and you know what that means — food, drinks and all of the restaurant specials to come with it. While everyone is celebrating Cinco de Mayo in their own way, these five restaurants are going all out for the occasion. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at any one of these restaurants on May 5.
Chuy’s
Never skimping on its fresh Tex-Mex flavor, Chuy’s offers a variety of cold and delicious drinks you can enjoy, especially during its all-day happy hour for Cinco de Mayo. Besides discounts on domestic beers and its world-famous house margaritas, Chuy’s is also offering $1 tequila floaters you can add to any beverage. Plus for a limited time only, you can try its frozen blackberry margarita made with real blackberry puree and Camarena Silver tequila.
Cristina’s Fine Mexican Restaurant
Whether it is offering its juicy carne asada or ice-cold mojitos, Cristina’s Fine Mexican Restaurant has all of the fixings you need for Cinco de Mayo. From 4-9 p.m., Cristina’s is offering house specials on all of its margaritas, whether it is $5 for 10 ounces or $7 for 20 ounces. Don’t forget to try its new Mangonada margaritas made from real mangos, and add a $3 Mi Campo tequila shot if you want an extra kick.
Esparza's Restaurante Mexicano
The Margarita Capital of Texas since 1985, Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano offers its notorious margaritas either in-house or on the go. It’s slashing its drink prices this Cinco de Mayo by offering an expanded happy hour from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Purchase its margaritas and swirls for just $5.95 or its 16- or 23-ounce draft beers for $3.50-5. Either way, you won’t regret spending Cinco de Mayo at Esparza’s.
Mi Dia From Scratch
There’s a reason why Mi Dia From Scratch won Best Margarita and Tex-Mex restaurant from Southlake Style’s Readers’ Choice 2021. This Cinco de Mayo, Mi Dia is upping the ante by offering its house margaritas and short Jalisco twisters for just $6 all day, regardless of whether it is frozen or on the rocks. Stop by in the evening and try its delicious Baja taco dinner specials as well.
Uncle Julio's Mexican From Scratch
Whether it’s a special occasion or a casual night out, Uncle Julio’s extravagant menu is one of its most distinguishable characteristics. This Wednesday, Uncle Julio’s is offering a whole new menu exclusively for the holiday. From its frozen grande margarita swirls to its in-house guacamole and queso to its massive family bundle meals that feed four people, Uncle Julio’s is prepared for any party of any size this Cinco de Mayo.
