Taste Community Restaurant
Taste Community Restaurant is talking food insecurity one plate at a time. Fort Worth's newest nonprofit restaurant has a goal of feeding, educating and serving those in Tarrant County that struggle with food insecurity. This is an issue that one in six Americans faces everyday as they worry how they can come across their next meal. The restaurant's pay-what-you-can model helps everyone enjoy a healthy meal regardless of their income. Guests can come in and pay what they can afford, pay what they would normally for the quality of food they are receiving or pay a little extra to help keep the restaurant afloat.
