Ready to play sports while retaining social distancing? Crush It Virtual Sports Lounge opened its doors on May 1, bringing plenty of family entertainment to the area. The Grapevine restaurant and entertainment center allows guests to rent out sports simulators and play along to a range of life-like games. With football, basketball, golf, soccer, baseball, carnival games, hockey, dodgeball and laser shot simulations all loaded up, all you have to do is grab the right equipment and get ready to have fun.
With a drive to own his own business and a passion for golf, owner Mike Speets was excited to introduce this concept to the area. After surveying the Metroplex, he decided on Grapevine as his flagship location because of its family demographics and proximity to the airport.
"There's a lot of people over here, and people wanting to have fun," Mike says. "I like the thought of families and high schoolers coming in."
Mike originally intended for Crush It to open March 28, but the date was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Now he is ready to host families, at 25% capacity, for some fun nights out. Crush It also features a full kitchen and full bar for locals to enjoy while playing. Plus, with a nice patio, there are plenty of different ways for customers to space out.
