Hawaiian Bros, a fast casual Hawaiian concept, will open 14 new locations in the Metroplex — including one in Alliance at 2301 N. Tarrant Pkwy., Fort Worth. Each restaurant will offer authentic island food, and its menu centers on the traditional Hawaiian plate lunch.
The restaurant group opened its first location in Kansas City in 2018, with brothers Cameron and Tyler McNie leading the vision of the brand. Prior to opening that first restaurant, the brothers were personally taught Hawaiian recipes and cooking techniques by native Hawaiians.
“From their first taste of Hawaiian cuisine, our founders Cameron and Tyler McNie, knew they wanted to share the flavors of Hawaii with the mainland,” Hawaiian Bros president Scott Ford says via press release. “They also very purposefully centered their business around the value of Ohana — knowing the blending of community, connection and food would be the best way to honor the Hawaiian culture.”
The restaurant will offer flavorful meats like slow-roasted pulled pork and marinated teriyaki chicken as well as sides like jasmine rice and macaroni salad. The proposed 14 restaurants will be located in Fort Worth (Hulen), Denton, Alliance, Frisco, Upper Greenville Avenue, Hurst, Allen, Waco, Mesquite, Addison, Richardson, Euless and Murphy.
