Jane, a coffee, small bites and wine bar, will open in Park Village in mid-May. Created by local Mo Noorali, Jane aspires to fill in all the gaps of the day for local foodies. In the morning, it will offer coffee and pastries for those hungry for a chic breakfast spot. Later on, Jane will transition to offer shareables, small plates and an extensive wine program for pre-dinner and post-dinner crowds.
“The thought process behind it was to resemble a hotel lobby bar,” Mo says. “It’s a place to meet, sip, eat and gather while the atmosphere transforms through the day.”
The menu will feature rotating offerings to feature seasonal ingredients, but guests can anticipate to fall in love with Jane’s staples, like La Colombe cold brew, wines by the glass and its signature charcuterie boards.
“We are trying to offer a little something for everyone,” Mo says.
After living in New York for several years, Mo moved back to Grapevine with his wife and kids. Mo, a Colleyville-Heritage alum, and his wife Nosheen, a Carroll grad, immediately scoped out the area’s new casual eateries. What they found was an opportunity to provide something fresh for the dining community.
“We saw the space and location and thought the concept would be a great addition,” Mo says. “Park Village is a high-profile dining hub in the area. It is centrally located, well established and provides an excellent mix of venues for locals and visitors alike to gather and enjoy.”
The 1151 E. Southlake Blvd. location also features a sidewalk patio, which Mo says will allow Jane to offer al fresco dining. So whether you share a bottle of rose over happy hour or host a coffee meeting in a sleek environment, Jane might be your new go-to. And Mo will be ready to welcome you, no matter where you’re at in your day.
“Part of this us being a smaller establishment is the owners are very hand ons,” Mo says. “This is a passion project for us.”
