Two years after its doors were shut, Sam’s Club reopens in Grapevine this week with a fresh makeover and all-new amenities.
After a tornado blew through the area and ripped off the roof of the warehouse club in 2022, local residents have been waiting for Sam’s Club's eventual comeback. Now, the wholesale store is back open for business with an assortment of unique features that members have to look forward to.
With over 150,000 square feet of space, one new feature available to shoppers is the Scan & Go only club, a first-of-its-kind offering for members who are looking to be in and out in a flash. The new omnichannel showroom will highlight a wide variety of products, and the cafe cubbies help with quick and convenient order pickups — not to mention the fresh tortilla machine that customers can see churning away in the bakery. Plus with its new industrial pizza robot, the cafe can produce more than 100 pizzas in an hour.
In addition to the store’s transformation, the club will also host a variety of special community events celebrating its reopening. From now until Oct. 20, there will be free activities, games and inflatables in the parking lot, while LittleBricks president Russell Cassevah will host a guided LEGO build experience for families and their kids. There will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, with special guests including Grapevine mayor William D. Tate and Dallas Cowboy legends Charles Haley and DeMarcus Ware.
You can shop at the new and improved Sam’s Club now at 1701 W. State Hwy. 114. To learn more, visit SamsClub.com.
