It's official: Shake Shack is coming to Southlake. Located at 125 Central Avenue, the 3,166-square-foot Southlake Town Square location is currently under construction, but it is slated to open later on this year.
It will feature all of the brand's classics, including the ShackBurger and its crinkle-cut fries. But locals should be most excited about their exterior covered patio that will provide ample seating for diners. It will also be constructed with recyclable materials to support their green architecture and construction efforts.
“I just think Shake Shack has such a fun vibe that it adds a new dimension to the offerings in Town Square,” Mayor Laura Hill says. “I've heard a lot of people from the East Coast that are saying, ‘Oh my gosh, I can't wait!'”
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Shake Shack has grown from New York hot dog cart to international burger mogul since they opened their first permanent kiosk in 2004. Known for its long lines, classic dishes and creamy desserts, the quick-service, casual eatery has gained a cult following who won't let anything get in the way of their next bite. Now, locals will be able to sink their teeth into these dishes for themselves.
