In the midst of Chicago Signature's hardy menu items lies a family secret that’s sure to shake up the Colleyville dessert scene.
The quick-service eatery provides a variety of scrumptious sandwiches, like their phillys, Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef creations. But diners will be coming back to enjoy their truly unique dessert option.
Their Avocado Shake, made with organic avocados and topped with whipped cream and cashews, is a family recipe that has roots stretching back to Jordan. And owner Muhannad, Mike, Khateeb is now sharing the family secret so everyone can try out this intriguing concoction.
There's really nothing like it in the area with its smooth, creamy finish and complex flavor combinations. And it has elevated touches like the organic honey on top that comes all the way from Jerusalem.
Chicago Signature opened its doors on February 16 and was Mike's first local operation. After moving down from the windy city, he thought there wasn't a true piece of Chicago here in town.
“Most people that come in try the food and see the old pictures, and they feel like they are in Chicago,” Mike said. “I want them to walk out of this door thinking they experienced Chicago in the great state of Texas.”
