Fine Art Event Includes Six Galleries, LivebrEntertainment, Complimentary Food and Wine

Grapevine, Texas, is known near and far for its wineries,brfestivals, entertainment venues and bustling historic district. With the recentbrformation of the Grapevine Art Dealers Association (GADA), it is also becomingbrrecognized as a fine art destination. To promote the city's artistic offeringsbrand member galleries, GADA will host its inaugural Fall Gallery Night Octoberbr5, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along Main Street (galleries are listed inbrrecommended order of visit):
· brA Touch of Paris, 202 West Wall Street, is owned by Frenchbrartist/instructor Dominique Galleron. Original art on display includes Dominiques’sbrFrench-inspired oil paintings done in her bold palette knife style.
· brGreat American West Gallery, 332brSouth Main Street, features the finest western artists in the world with bothbrpaintings and bronzes. Subjects include Native Americans, frontiersmen,brcavalry, pioneers, cowboys, and ranchers as well as horses, cattle andbrexpansive landscapes.
· brGiddens Fine Art Gallery, 624 South Main Street, is run by owner/artistbrCherie Giddens and John Giddens who offer a wide selection of paintings andbrsculpture from local and national artists including work by Cherie Giddens,brFran Chausse White, and Fred Achelpohl. br
· brThe Tower Gallery, located at 636 South Main Street inbrthe Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be hosting the Texas SculpturebrAssociation show and sale. This show is a favorite offering with a delightfulbrmix of contemporary styles ranging from twisted metal to fine bronzes.
· brHolder Dane Gallery and Art Studios,br701 South Main Street at the Historic Cotton Belt Train Depot area, featuresbrfine art, oil paintings, bronze and wood sculpture, contemporary art jewelrybrand fine pottery. br
· brVetro Glassblowing Studio & Gallery,br701 South Main Street at the Train Depot, is owned by master glass artist DavidbrGappa who specializes in hand blown and lamp work art glass ranging from contemporarybrlighting and corporate awards to decorative art and jewelry pieces.
According to Patricia Dane Bodnyk, owner of Holder DanebrGallery and Art Studios, GADA Fall Gallery Night will showcase an amazingbrvariety of fine art ranging from the finest of western paintings and graceful handbrblown vases to horses in bronze by Linda Lewis-Roark, the new resident sculptorbrand owner of the Grapevine Foundry.
"The GADAbrFall Gallery Night showcases the fine arts in Grapevine by offering abrdelightful evening of high quality art for art lovers to collect and enjoybrwhile sampling each gallery's signature food and drink," she said, notingbrthe Spring Gallery Night held in May was the first GADA event and the responsebrwas overwhelmingly positive from both galleries and guests. "We want to let art patrons throughoutbrDallas Fort Worth come to know and seek out the thriving new art community inbrGrapevine."
Complimentarybrfood and beverages will be served at each gallery via progressive style,brincluding wine and signature cocktails, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be live music at sunsetbrat the Train Depot, where Vetro Glassblowing Studio and Holder Dane Gallery arebrlocated. Gallerybrowners and artists will be on hand to answer questions and facilitatebrpurchases. There is no cost to attend the inaugural GADA Fall Gallery Night.
