It’s that time of the year: Get ready to save money and save lives as the ever-popular Partners Card shopping fundraiser returns for its 28th year!
The 10-day shopping extravaganza benefiting Dallas-based family violence agency, The Family Place, will take place from Friday, October 30, to Sunday, November 8, this year. Shoppers can purchase a Partners Card for $75 and save 20% at retailers and 10% at restaurants across North Texas. Furthermore, 100% of a Partners Card purchase goes directly to support The Family Place programs and services for victims of family violence.
In years past, Southlake locals have looked forward to coming together for an annual kickoff party for Partners Card. Last year’s event drew in a stylish crowd including Michelle Davis, Tracie Davis, Kristen Gatlin, Julie Horn, Stacy Kristynik, Lori Norwood, Alexa Parra and Jana Schleif at Southlake’s Starpower. However, in light of COVID-19, The Family Place made the decision to cancel in-person events ahead of Partners Card this year.
“While we cannot celebrate with a pre-party this shopping season, as a community we can still come together to support The Family Place by buying a Partners Card online or at a card-selling retailer. This year has been challenging for many nonprofits. However, we know how generous the North Texas community is and have no doubt this will be another successful year despite current circumstances,” shares Grace Dewar, Development Manager at The Family Place.
Here in Southlake, Partners Card shoppers can enjoy deals at The Bar Method, The Container Store, Toy Maven, Malouf’s, Sample House and more! New to Partners Card, make sure to stop by Frenchie’s Modern Nail Care to freshen up your manicure while shopping to support victims of family violence. Seventeen retailers in Southlake Town Square will be offering discounts during Partners Card.
Outside of Southlake, most of DFW’s big shopping centers participate in Partners Card including Plaza at Preston Center, Highland Park Village, NorthPark Center, Galleria Dallas, and Inwood Village.
“As more people lean into shopping online during this time, there are more online shopping brands than ever for people to still get their Partners Card deals without having to shop in-store,” shares Dewar.
