“It’s not your grandparent’s cruise. It’s very much life-changing.”
Celebrity Cruises is charging full-speed ahead of its $500 million revolution. It all started with the debut of its 1,000-foot luxury cruise ship Celebrity Edge in November. Now, it continues with the launch of the revolutionary Celebrity Flora, a 100-guest mega-yacht that will connect travelers to their destinations like never before.
“Every once in a while, a unique ship comes along in the industry and changes things,” says Richard Fain, Royal Caribbean Cruises chairman and CEO. “Celebrity Flora is that ship.”
The 50-suite luxury cruise is the first of its kind to be designed and built specifically for its destination hotspot: the Galapagos Islands. With its outward-facing concept, full room automation, 24-hour room service and personal suite attendants, Celebrity Flora is especially suited for the fullest enjoyment of your exquisite cruise, immersing you in your off-shores adventure rather than merely visiting it. Top that off with the Flora’s increased sustainability and cutting-edge oceanographic technology, and you have a ship that is just as environmentally friendly as it is relaxing and upper-class.
“Our guests have never seen a destination quite like the beautiful Galapagos Islands, and the islands have never seen a ship quite like Celebrity Flora, perfectly blending intimate luxury with sustainability,” Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo says. “The ship is designed to showcase this amazing destination, giving our guests incredible memories and underscoring the critical importance of protecting our planet’s fragile ecosystems.”
But the Galapagos Islands is not the only adventure destination that Celebrity Cruises are offering. The Celebrity Reflection and the Celebrity Silhouette is also offering inner and outer loop cruises for Iceland and Antarctica respectively. With over 2,880 occupancies and over 20 delightful dining options, both the Celebrity Reflection and Silhouette offer several fantastic on-deck entertainment options on the way to your destinations. One thing the Iceland and Antarctica cruises offer beyond the Galapagos Islands, however, is its venturous excursions. The Iceland cruise offers a variety of pub and baking tours, and the Antarctica cruise has several sightseeing excursions across Buenos Aires and Iguazu National Park.
“It’s not your grandparent’s cruise,” regional marketing manager Letitia Johnson says. “It’s very much life-changing. This is something that people are choosing to do because they just want to get on a ship, go to signature destinations and do what they want to do on land or ship.”
With new ships, new places and exciting expeditions, there’s plenty to experience over at Celebrity Cruises. Hop aboard, and catch your next out-at-sea adventure today.
