Working out is hard, but working out with a newborn or toddler is even harder. That’s where Fit4Mom comes in.
“A lot of people are intimidated, especially if they just had a baby,” Fit4Mom KellerSouthlake owner Bethany Gregory says.
Inspired by her own journey with motherhood, Bethany purchased the Fit4Mom Keller-Southlake franchise 11 years ago.
“Once I had my baby, I wanted to get back in shape [and] I wanted to meet other moms,” Bethany says. “I went to the Stroller Strides class that they offered in Grapevine and I immediately fell in love with the concept.”
Fit4Mom’s classes include Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre, which incorporate strollers into cardio and barre workouts that kids can ride along with. With outdoor classes around town at Bicentennial Park, North Park and Bear Creek Park, the franchise caters to moms of all fitness levels.
“You can make it literally as easy or as challenging as you want it to be,” Bethany says. “I have moms who are pregnant. I have moms that have just had a baby. I have moms who had babies years ago, and they come to class every single day.”
One of the best perks of Fit4Mom is the opportunity to meet and hang out with fellow moms in the area.
“There’s something magical that happens when you bring moms together,” Bethany says. “We call it a village, which is a super cheesy name, but it feels that way. It’s a safe zone. A mom can nurse in the middle of class. Change a diaper. If she forgot wipes, I promise you somebody else has them. So they come for the workout and stay for the friendships.”
Whether your baby is on the way, just walking, learning to drive or having babies of their own, Fit4Mom can help you along your fitness journey.
